When applied to vegetation or animal life, the scriptures refer to the first fruit or firstborn. In addition, some refer to a law of first things, referring to principles guiding the conceptualization of firstborn or first fruit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">When we speak of creation, we always see who is first or alpha, and that is God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">Rev 22:13<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0(AMPC)<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0I am\u00a0<strong>the Alpha<\/strong>\u00a0and the Omega,\u00a0<strong>the First<\/strong>\u00a0and the Last (the Before all and the End of all). He must likewise be first in our lives; else our lives would not stand the test of time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">If you are born again, you are part of the body of Christ or the Ecclesia of God. Our description in scripture is \u201c\u2026the church (assembly) of the Firstborn\u201d (Heb 12:23, AMPC). The Lord Jesus \u201c\u2026is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is\u00a0<strong>the Beginning, the Firstborn<\/strong>\u00a0<u>from among the dead<\/u>&#8230;\u201d (Col 1:18, AMPC). He told Apostle Peter, \u201cI will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it\u201d (Mat 16:18, AMPC).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">Why can His Church or Ecclesia not be overpowered?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">This is because it honours\u00a0the principle of FIRST THINGS. It has the most solid foundation. The foundation is the FIRST part of the building in construction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">1Co 3:11<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0(AMPC)<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0For no other\u00a0<strong>foundation<\/strong>\u00a0can anyone lay than that which is [<\/span><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #757575;\">already<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">] laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">In like manner, just as the construction of His Ecclesia follows the law of first things, our individual lives as living stones are built up following the same principle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">1Pe 2:5<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0(AMPC)<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0[<\/span><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #757575;\">Come<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">] and, like\u00a0<strong>living stones, be yourselves built [<\/strong><\/span><strong><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #757575;\">into<\/span><\/em><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">] a spiritual house<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">, for a holy (dedicated, consecrated) priesthood, to offer up [<\/span><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #757575;\">those<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">] spiritual sacrifices [<\/span><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #757575;\">that are<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">] acceptable\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">and<\/span><\/em>pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">But what is the first living stone again from whom all other living stones take our image, likeness, instruction and life?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">1Pe 2:4-6<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0(AMPC)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: initial; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">4<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0Come to Him [<\/span><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #757575;\">then, to that<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">]\u00a0<strong>Living Stone<\/strong>\u00a0which men tried\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">and<\/span><\/em>\u00a0threw away, but which is chosen [<\/span><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #757575;\">and<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">] precious in God&#8217;s sight. [<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">Isa 28:16<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">God\u2019s house is being built in Zion, and the foundation stone, also known as the chief cornerstone, is the Living Stone Jesus Christ, which some have rejected. The chief means the first. Lord Jesus actually means the First and Chief Owner of All. He earned that placement as first by birth (Rom 8:29; Col 1:15,18), inheritance (Heb 1:3-4), achievement (Php 2:9-11) and conquest (Col 2:15; Eph 4:8; Heb 2:14-15)\u2014hence being given a name above all other names in\u00a0<strong>three worlds<\/strong>. \u201cThat in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow,\u00a0<strong>in heaven<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>on earth<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>under the earth<\/strong>,\u201d (Php 2:10, AMPC).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">There are some who do not honour the law of first and build faulty foundations for their lives. For example, to be born again, one must \u201c\u2026 acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord\u2026\u201d (Rom 10:9, AMPC). Lord means chief or first. Failure to do this means you are not born again and cannot access salvation. This is foundational to the new birth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">The first of a thing serves as the foundation. The concept of Lordship is about first. This is why Jesus is the foundation or first stone in the house of God, otherwise known as the firstborn from the dead, firstborn of all creation or firstborn among many brethren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">FOUNDATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">When describing the building of His House, Jesus told Peter he would be a good builder and build on the Rock.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">Mat 16:18<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0(KJV)<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #da3737;\">And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and\u00a0<strong>upon this rock<\/strong>\u00a0I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">He spoke about others who did not build their buildings or their lives upon the Rock but upon the sand:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">Mat 7:26-27<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0(KJV)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: initial; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">26<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #da3737;\">And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and <strong>doeth them not<\/strong>, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which\u00a0<strong>built his house upon the sand<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: initial; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">27<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #da3737;\">And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">So we see that it matters upon what foundation (chief cornerstone) or first principles we build our lives. Building on the sand are those who do not heed God\u2019s word, but what about those who heed his word?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">Mat 7:24-25<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0(KJV)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: initial; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">24<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #da3737;\">Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, <strong>and doeth them<\/strong>, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 36pt; font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: initial; white-space: normal;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #238554;\">25<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #da3737;\">And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">There\u2019s a powerful principle revealed in this teaching by Jesus, and that is:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top: 24.0pt; margin-bottom: 24.0pt;\">\n<li style=\"margin: 24pt 0cm 24pt 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 125%; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">We must honour the law of foundations or the law of first things<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 24pt 0cm 24pt 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 125%; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">It matters what we lay or put first\u2014stone and not sand [doing His Word verses not doing His Word]<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 24pt 0cm 24pt 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 125%; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">No one can stop the storms of life from coming. They will come, but our adherence or noncompliance to the law of first things or foundations will determine whether what we have built will stand the test of storms or not<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">A foundation is defined as a solid base of a structure or an underlying basis or principle. To found is defined as to lay the basis of or establish a thing. A foundation is thus the first part of what is being established. It was not until the battle with the next city that he discovered a grievous error had been committed by one of the children of Israel\u2014by the name Achan. Not only did Achan touch what belonged to the Lord, but he took part of it and hid it in his tent. The next city was a much smaller one, but because of dishonouring God by touching what is His, the children of Israel suffered a very shameful and bloody defeat\u2014contrary to the promise made to Joshua\u2014<\/span>&#8220;<span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life\u201d Josh 1:5. Did God lie? Nope. Sunday is actually a name the pagans gave. The actual description is the \u201cfirst day\u201d of the week, and the pagans decided to dedicate to the Sun they worship. So amongst the days, it\u2019s the first day of the week. It was selected as a day of worship to give the first fruit of the week to God Almighty.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">The same principle applies to why we do our \u201cquiet time\u201d or bible study at the beginning of the day after waking up. That is the first or start of the day when we are at our freshest. We give that time to God before stepping out into the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">All 24 hours belong to God. However, we give him the first part, as a show of respect and honor, and because of the Divine Principle, when you give or sow to God the first fruit or root of your day, the entire rest of the day is sanctified unto him as HOLY.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 10pt 0cm; font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">It is the same for the month. Many commence the month by paying tithes and offerings and doing other kinds of things for God. Why is that? It&#8217;s not because of a ritual or tradition. It&#8217;s because when you give or sow to God at the beginning of your month, the rest of the month is set apart as Holy. Now, it doesn&#8217;t mean if you give him the early part of your day, the rest of your day does not belong to him.
