{"id":344,"date":"2012-06-23T03:56:41","date_gmt":"2012-06-23T03:56:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/truthlifelight.wordpress.com\/?p=344"},"modified":"2022-04-05T11:57:09","modified_gmt":"2022-04-05T11:57:09","slug":"fear-of-man-versus-the-fear-of-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunesishq.com\/notes\/fear-of-man-versus-the-fear-of-god\/","title":{"rendered":"Fear of man versus the Fear of God"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin-left:28pt;text-align:left;\"><span style=\"color:teal;\">Psa 111:10<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:red;\">The&nbsp;<span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">fear of the LORD<\/span>&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:black;\">is the&nbsp;<span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">beginning<\/span>&nbsp;of wisdom<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;\">: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;margin-left:28pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Corbel;font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:teal;\">Pro 29:25<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;\">&nbsp; The&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:red;text-decoration:underline;\">fear of man brings a snare<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;\"><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">,<\/span>&nbsp;but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#333333;font-family:Corbel;background-color:white;\">TODAY&#8217;s<span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"> post is about 2 main fears<\/span> humans have<span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">. One is the&nbsp;<span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">fear of man<\/span>&nbsp;and the other is about the&nbsp;<span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">fear of God<\/span>. <\/span>One leads to Wisdom and peace but the other leads to a snare.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:46pt;\"><strong><em><span style=\"color:#4f81bd;background-color:white;\">&#8220;We are the greatest of all fools and will be tormented our whole lives if we live in the fear of man. True peace and joy can only be found in obedience to God, and it is found in Him regardless of what people think of us&#8221;&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;font-family:Corbel;font-size:12pt;background-color:white;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#4f81bd;\"><span style=\"background-color:white;\">\u2013Rick Joyner<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:Corbel;font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#333333;\">My admonition is this: One of these brings with it Wisdom and the other brings a snare. Choose the one that brings Wisdom. Focus more on what God thinks of you rather than what men including fellow Christians think of you. At the end of the day its what God thinks that matters. And God&#8217;s burden and expectations of you are much easier to meet than the expectations of all human beings collectively. The fear of God is much lighter, useful and pleasant than the fear of man.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:red;\">Stick to the fear of God for it is the beginning of Wisdom<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;\">.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;margin-left:28pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Corbel;font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:teal;\">Mat 11:30 AMP<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;\">&nbsp; For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good&#8211;not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#3366ff;text-decoration:underline;\">comfortable, gracious, and pleasant<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;\">), and My burden is&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#3366ff;text-decoration:underline;\">light&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;\">and easy to be borne.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Corbel;\"><span style=\"color:red;font-size:12pt;\"><strong>CONCLUSION<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#333333;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">: It is impossible to please everybody BUT it is very possible to please God. Stick to the Word. Do not get tossed to and fro by what others think.<\/span> At the end of the day, it is what God thinks of us that matters.
