In <strong data-start=\"336\" data-end=\"349\">Genesis 1<\/strong>, God created the heavens and the earth through speech: <em data-start=\"405\" data-end=\"437\"><i>\u201cAnd God said\u2026 and it was so.\u201d<\/i><\/em> This sets a precedent\u2014divine words carry <strong data-start=\"479\" data-end=\"518\">life, intention, and creative power<\/strong>. Words, like seeds, contain within them the potential to produce after their kind (Genesis 1:11\u201312). Just as a natural seed must be planted in good soil to bring forth fruit, <strong data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"775\">the Word of God must be received into the heart to bring about transformation<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\" data-start=\"780\" data-end=\"1243\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Jesus explicitly taught this in <strong data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"825\">Luke 8:11<\/strong>: <em data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"884\"><i>\u201cNow the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.\u201d<\/i><\/em> This truth is echoed in <strong data-start=\"909\" data-end=\"922\">Mark 4:14<\/strong>: <em data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"954\"><i>\u201cThe sower soweth the word.\u201d<\/i><\/em> Every Word from God is designed to <strong data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1048\">reproduce, multiply, and fulfill its divine assignment<\/strong> in the life of the hearer. As such, the entire Kingdom of God operates on this seed principle (<strong data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1160\">Mark 4:26\u201329<\/strong>): what is sown, believed, and nurtured will, in time, produce a visible harvest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\" data-start=\"1245\" data-end=\"1405\"><span style=\"font-family: symbol; font-size: 16pt;\">*Understanding this truth is foundational to how love, authority, obedience, and fruitfulness operate both in the Kingdom and in relationships*<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>The Two Sides of Seed: Sowing and Receiving in God\u2019s Kingdom<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Every seed transaction requires two parties: <strong>a sower<\/strong> and <strong>a receiver<\/strong>. This is a divine pattern established in both creation and redemption.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">In <strong>Genesis 1<\/strong>, God demonstrates this principle. He spoke His Word\u2014<i>\u201cLet the waters bring forth abundantly\u2026\u201d<\/i>\u2014and the waters responded by producing sea life (Genesis 1:20, KJV). The Word was the seed; the waters, the womb. The same pattern appears again when He commands the earth to bring forth grass and fruit: <strong>God sows the Word, and the created element receives and manifests it<\/strong>. Creation responds to the Word like soil to a seed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">This spiritual architecture is also reflected in natural human reproduction: a man gives seed (sperm), and a woman receives it into her womb. She incubates it and in due time births life. In this process, <strong>the man expresses love through giving<\/strong>, and <strong>the woman expresses love through receiving and bringing forth<\/strong>. This echoes divine covenant dynamics: <strong>sowing, receiving, and birthing<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Jesus draws from this same principle in the <strong>Parable of the Sower<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Luke 8:11 (KJV)<\/strong> \u2013 <i>\u201cNow the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.\u201d<\/i><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Mark 4:14 (KJV)<\/strong> \u2013 <i>\u201cThe sower soweth the word.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">The sower is God\u2014or anyone releasing divine instruction. The soil is the heart. The quality of the harvest is determined not by the seed\u2019s power (which is perfect), but by the condition of the heart that receives it. <strong>Only good soil brings forth fruit\u2014some thirty, sixty, or a hundredfold<\/strong> (Mark 4:20, KJV).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">But this principle doesn\u2019t just govern growth\u2014it governs <strong>rebirth, or the new birth\u2014recreation of the spirit of man into a new man<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>1 Peter 1:23 (AMPC)<\/strong> \u2013 <i>\u201cYou have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Here, Peter makes it plain: the new birth experience\u2014the very beginning of the Christian life\u2014is by receiving the <strong>seed<\/strong> of God\u2019s Word into the heart. Just as natural life begins by seed entering a womb, <strong>spiritual life begins when the incorruptible seed of the Word enters a receptive heart<\/strong>. The Holy Spirit acts upon that seed, and a new nature is born.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Throughout Scripture, we see the dual operation of this seed principle:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin-bottom: 12.0pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Mary<\/strong> received the Word and conceived Jesus (Luke 1:38).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin-bottom: 12.0pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>The Church<\/strong>, as the Bride of Christ, receives the Word and is washed, sanctified, and made glorious (Ephesians 5:26\u201327).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin-bottom: 12.0pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Disciples<\/strong> receive apostolic teaching, and their lives are transformed (Acts 2:42).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Thus, <strong>seed is the divine principle of life, love, and legacy<\/strong>. All growth\u2014natural or spiritual\u2014flows from a seed received into good ground. In the Kingdom, nothing fruitful happens without sowing, receiving, and nurturing the Word.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">And what is the purpose of seed? <strong>To be planted, to grow, and to bear fruit<\/strong>. The Word must be sown in our hearts, meditated upon, acted on, and allowed to mature. In time, it will produce <strong>godly character, divine success, transformed lives, and Kingdom impact<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Seed, Love, and Submission: The Divine Blueprint in Ephesians 5<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">The seed principle governs not only creation and salvation\u2014but also covenant relationships, especially marriage. <strong>Ephesians 5<\/strong> reveals marriage as a divine mirror of Christ and the Church.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Ephesians 5:25 (KJV):<\/strong> <i>\u201cHusbands, <strong>love<\/strong> your wives, even as Christ also <strong>loved<\/strong> the church, and <strong>gave himself for it<\/strong>.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Love here is not first defined by emotion\u2014but by sacrificial giving. Christ&#8217;s love was demonstrated not merely by affection but by <i>giving Himself<\/i>\u2014even unto death. This parallels <strong>John 3:16<\/strong>: <i>\u201cFor God so <strong>loved<\/strong> the world, that He <strong>gave<\/strong>\u2026\u201d<\/i> True Kingdom love gives, serves, and sacrifices. Husbands are called to love in this way\u2014modeling Christ\u2019s self-giving love for the Church.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">A husband&#8217;s \u201cseed\u201d includes more than biology\u2014it includes vision, words, covering, spiritual leadership, and decisions. He is the sower in the marriage covenant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Ephesians 5:22\u201324 (KJV):<\/strong> <i>\u201cWives, <strong>submit<\/strong> yourselves unto your own husbands, <strong>as unto the Lord\u2026 in everything<\/strong>.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">In contrast, the wife is not primarily commanded to love but to submit. Submission here is not inferiority\u2014it is yieldedness, receptivity, and responsiveness. Just as the Church responds to Christ\u2019s leadership and love, so the wife reflects covenant loyalty by receiving and multiplying what her husband gives. Nowhere in the New Testament is the wife explicitly commanded to love with agape; instead, her role is likened to that of the Church\u2014receiving, submitting, and bearing fruit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Submission, then, is not a covenantal response to sacrificial love. It&#8217;s not a response but an instruction from the Lord. Just as the husband is commanded to love. The wife is commanded to submit. It is trust in God\u2019s order.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">This is the divine balance:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">One gives, the other receives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">One sows, the other nurtures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Together, they reflect Christ and His Church.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Even biologically, this divine architecture is evident in both male and female reproductive gates. A man gives seed; a woman receives, incubates, and brings forth life. Marriage is thus a parable of Kingdom dynamics: Word and soil, Christ and Church, seed and womb.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" size=\"0\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Covenant Framework of Love and Obedience<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">In the earlier blog, we explored how <i>true love is expressed in obedience<\/i> (John 14:15) and that <strong>faith acts<\/strong> by <strong>doing the Word<\/strong>. This principle now takes on <strong>relational and institutional form<\/strong> in marriage. Just as believers are called to respond to God\u2019s love with obedient action, the wife is obedient and submissive\u2014in the same covenantal loyalty Christ expects from His Church.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Love gives (God to us, Christ to Church, husband to wife); Obedience receives and bears fruit (us to God, Church to Christ, wife to husband).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Even the biological design of our bodies affirms this truth. A man, when aroused, physically protrudes and gives seed. A woman, by design, receives\u2014she is internally structured to nurture and produce life from what she receives. This reveals a divine order: <strong data-start=\"1017\" data-end=\"1086\">one reproductive system gives; the other receives and multiplies.<\/strong> These physical realities mirror the spiritual principles of <strong data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1168\">sowing and reaping<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1192\">love and obedience<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1194\" data-end=\"1219\">giving and submission<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" size=\"0\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Seed (Word) and Meditation<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">In faith, we act on God\u2019s word. In meditation, we meditate on the Word. The Word is seed (Luke 8:11) and <strong>meditation is how we receive, nurture, and act on that Word<\/strong>. In marriage, the <strong>husband sows<\/strong>\u2014through words, vision, and sacrificial leadership. The <strong>wife \u201cmeditates\u201d<\/strong> in a parallel sense\u2014she receives and cultivates what is given. Just like the Word in the heart, what\u2019s received and obeyed multiplies into fruit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Meditation and submission are both <strong>postures of fruitful reception<\/strong>. Giving (love) and receiving (obedience\/submission) work together to produce Kingdom outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" size=\"0\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Kingdom Success Is Fruitfulness<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Success is <strong>fruitfulness in God\u2019s will<\/strong> (Joshua 1:8). Here, the marriage covenant becomes another model of this fruitfulness\u2014when love is sacrificial and submission is faithful, the union bears <strong>natural, emotional, spiritual, and even generational fruit<\/strong> (children, ideas, legacy, impact).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">The same success framework (Word \u2192 Meditation \u2192 Doing \u2192 Fruit) appears in the marriage dynamic as well. It is another layer of divine design.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" size=\"0\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><strong>Covenant Roles, Not Cultural Norms<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">We are heirs of <strong>God\u2019s covenant through Christ (Gal. 3:29)<\/strong>, and therefore, our roles and responsibilities are rooted in <strong>covenant faithfulness, not popular culture<\/strong>. The roles in Ephesians 5 are not based on societal structures but on <strong>the eternal pattern of Christ and His Church<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16.0pt;\">Obedience, meditation, submission, love, and success are all covenant expressions, lived out across spiritual and relational domains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"layout-grid-mode: char; margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the very beginning, God revealed that words are not just sounds\u2014they are seeds.
