I. The Enemy Identified: A Nation Under Spiritual Attack<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“He said unto them, An enemy hath done this<\/strong>.”<\/span><\/em> (Matthew 13:28)<\/span><\/p>\n

When the great work of the Master\u2014His sowing of good seed<\/strong>\u2014was marred by subterfuge<\/strong>, treachery<\/strong>, and the fall of the wicked one, He was not ignorant of the source<\/strong>. His response was clear and discerning<\/strong>: “An enemy hath done this.”<\/strong> (Matthew 13:28)<\/span><\/p>\n

When I was informed yesterday of the tragic news that a Ghana Armed Forces Harbin Z-9EH helicopter had crashed, claiming the lives of eight noble, esteemed, and illustrious sons of Ghana<\/strong>\u2014men who perished in high service to the nation<\/strong> while attending a conference addressing the scourge of destructive mining practices<\/strong>\u2014my immediate response, as a citizen<\/strong>, a servant of God<\/strong>, and a lecturer in international relations<\/strong>, was:<\/span><\/p>\n

“An enemy hath done this.”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Whether they be enemies foreign or domestic<\/strong>, spiritual or physical<\/strong>, serpents or scorpions<\/strong>\u2014this was more than an accident. It was an attack on the soul of the nation<\/strong>. It was an assault on our banner<\/strong>, our unity, our destiny. Those familiar with global power structures<\/strong>, patterns of influence<\/strong>, and strategic disruption<\/strong> understand that such “accidents” often bear the fingerprints of deeper, darker orchestration<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The truth is, we live in a spiritual world<\/strong>, where human affairs are influenced by invisible forces<\/strong>\u2014principalities and powers<\/strong> operating in a structured government of darkness<\/strong> (Ephesians 6:12). Be it through the so-called EHM (Economic Hitman) system<\/strong> or other covert operations, or even through what men simplistically call flukes, nothing happens by chance<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is precisely why the enforcers of the living God\u2014His spiritual soldiers<\/strong>\u2014are commanded to “pray for all that are in authority”<\/strong> (1 Timothy 2:1\u20132). We are instructed to be vigilant<\/strong>, not partisan<\/strong>. The Kingdom we represent transcends party lines<\/strong>, for “a house divided against itself shall not stand”<\/strong> (Mark 3:24\u201325).<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us rise, therefore, not merely to mourn, but to discern<\/strong>. Let us not merely analyze, but intercede<\/strong>. Let Ghana’s watchmen<\/strong> take their place upon the walls again.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I have set watchmen<\/strong> upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace<\/strong> day nor night…”<\/span><\/em> \u2014Isaiah 62:6<\/span><\/p>\n

II. The Divine Mandate: Prayer as Warfare<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all<\/strong>, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men<\/strong>; For kings, and for all that are in authority<\/strong>; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life<\/strong> in all godliness and honesty.”<\/span><\/em> (1 Timothy 2:1-2, KJV)<\/span><\/p>\n

This divine mandate flows directly from the warfare commission<\/strong> given to Timothy:<\/span><\/p>\n

“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare<\/strong>.”<\/span><\/em> (1 Timothy 1:18, KJV)<\/span><\/p>\n

A prophetic word<\/strong> is only the beginning of the war until it is established and executed, and we put garrisons<\/strong> to ensure sustainability. Every believer is called to wrestling with principalities and powers<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

“For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood<\/strong> [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms<\/strong>, against the powers<\/strong>, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness<\/strong>, against the spirit forces of wickedness<\/strong> in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.”<\/span><\/em> (Ephesians 6:12, AMPC)<\/span><\/p>\n

When a nation is in recovery mode<\/strong>, we do not expect that in the war with the structure of darkness\u2014whose sole purpose is to instigate anarchy<\/strong>, poverty<\/strong>, and backwardness<\/strong>\u2014they will stand by and jubilate. I want you to think: How much worse this would have been if there had been no prayer.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

These are the tools of spiritual warfare<\/strong> as Christians. The majority of the armor of God has been given to us as seemingly defensive tools<\/strong>, then you get to the offensive section<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

“\u2026the sword that the Spirit wields<\/strong>, which is the Word of God<\/strong>. Pray at ALL times<\/strong> (on every occasion, in EVERY season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints<\/strong> (God’s consecrated people).”<\/span><\/em> (Ephesians 6:17-18, AMPC)<\/span><\/p>\n

Note that there is more than one manner of prayer,<\/strong> and we don’t pray at times but always<\/strong> and at all times<\/strong> because there is a warfare to be waged<\/strong> with the prophetic words and the promises of the Holy Spirit<\/strong>, including the sure word of prophecy,<\/strong> which is the holy Scriptures.<\/span><\/p>\n

III. The Weapons of Our Warfare: Present-Hour Realities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cFor the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.\u201d<\/span><\/em>
\n\u20142 Corinthians 10:4 (KJV)<\/span><\/p>\n

What kind of promises are we standing on in this hour?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the New Testament, there are two key categories of divine promises\u2014each with a distinct theological role in the life of the believer.<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Epangelia (\u1f10\u03c0\u03b1\u03b3\u03b3\u03b5\u03bb\u03af\u03b1)<\/span><\/strong> refers to future-oriented promises<\/em>\u2014realities that require endurance, patience, and the obedience of faith. These are like promissory notes: guaranteed by God but awaiting fulfillment in due time.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Epegelma (\u1f10\u03c0\u03ae\u03b3\u03b3\u03b5\u03bb\u03bc\u03b1)<\/span><\/strong>, by contrast, refers to present-hour realities<\/em>\u2014completed works of Christ, already available to the believer. These function like signed checks<\/strong>, fully authorized and funded by the cross and resurrection, requiring only faith to draw upon them.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      This distinction is crucial in understanding our posture in spiritual warfare.
      \nThe victory over demonic powers, manipulative enchantments, and the spiritual “dogs” that seek to devour righteous leadership\u2014such as Ghana’s current President, John Mahama\u2014is not an epangelia<\/strong> that we must wait for in the distant future. It is an epegelma<\/strong>\u2014a now reality<\/strong>, already secured and accessible.<\/span><\/p>\n

      When prophetic intercession rises, and immediate atmospheric shifts follow\u2014such as sudden rains that disrupt enemy rituals\u2014we are not hoping for a promise to be fulfilled<\/strong>. We are drawing from Christ\u2019s finished work<\/strong>, pulling from an already-funded account of victory, as those who understand what has been legally established in the Spirit:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u201cHe disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.\u201d<\/span><\/em>
      \n\u2014Colossians 2:15 (ESV)<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u201cWhen He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.\u201d<\/span><\/em>
      \n\u2014Ephesians 4:8<\/span><\/p>\n

      This is not wishful thinking. This is spiritual fact.
      \nThis is not blind optimism. This is Kingdom enforcement.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Through the Word, the Spirit, and prophetic prayer, we wield the weapons of our warfare<\/strong>\u2014mighty in God, not someday, but today<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      IV. A Call to National Unity: Strike the Shepherd, Scatter the Sheep<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \u201cI will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.\u201d<\/span><\/em>
      \n\u2014Matthew 26:31 (cf. Zechariah 13:7)<\/span><\/p>\n

      This is not the time to be partisan<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The principle is spiritual and simple: when the enemy targets leadership, it is rarely about the leader alone. It is a tactic of destabilization<\/strong>.
      \nStrike the shepherd, and the flock is scattered.<\/strong>
      \nWound the head, and the body loses direction.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Any attack\u2014whether spiritual or physical\u2014against the sitting President of this nation is not just an attack on him as an individual or representative of a political party. It is an attack on the national order, the unity of the people, and the destiny of Ghana itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

      It is not about party color. It is about national covering<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      It is not about political affiliation. It is about spiritual preservation<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      This is a moment that demands unity\u2014not uniformity of opinion, but oneness of purpose<\/strong>. Ghana\u2019s identity is under siege. Its prophetic future is being contested. The soul of the nation is in the crosshairs of darkness.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The President is currently positioned as a shepherd\u2014holding the rod and staff amidst storms. But this is not his battle alone. This battle belongs to every citizen<\/strong>, every intercessor, every pastor, every policymaker, and every child of the soil.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Let us rise with one voice, one vision, and one verdict<\/strong>:
      \nThe sheep will not scatter. The shepherd will not fall. The nation will not crumble.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      V. The Prophetic Evidence: Divine Intervention and Restoration<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      When Jesus hung on the cross, King David\u2014functioning as both king and prophet\u2014saw it a thousand years in advance. He recorded the Messiah’s cry in Psalm 22, where Jesus declares,
      \n\u201cDogs have surrounded me…\u201d<\/strong> (Psalm 22:16).<\/span><\/p>\n

      These “dogs”\u2014whether spiritual or physical, foreign or domestic\u2014still surround the righteous. But let this be a divine announcement to every adversary:<\/span><\/p>\n

      You don\u2019t stand a chance.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      Ghana\u2019s deliverance does not come by human strength or political maneuvering. It is wrought by the power of the living God<\/strong>. According to the epegelma<\/strong>\u2014the present-tense, already-accomplished promises of God\u2014your position is under our feet<\/em>. You are defeated foes. Your destiny is sealed. And Ghana\u2019s destiny shall be fulfilled.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Yes, you may have sought to tear the flag\u2014the symbol of our national soul\u2014and trample upon the red: the blood and sacrifice of our forebears.
      \nBut that flag is repaired now<\/strong>, in the name of Jesus Christ.
      \nHe who is the Rose of Sharon<\/strong> and the Lily of the Valleys<\/strong> is healing our land.<\/span><\/p>\n

      As prophetic intercession rises, heaven responds with divine intervention<\/strong>.
      \nRain falls\u2014disrupting and dissolving rituals and foreign enchantments.
      \nWhat the enemy plants, God\u2019s rain destroys. What darkness conceives, divine power overrules. The soul of Ghana is not for sale.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Present-Hour Realities (Epegelma) Available to Ghana<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. The Devil Paralyzed<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \u201cSince, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought<\/strong> and make of no effect<\/strong> him who had the power of death\u2014that is, the devil\u2014And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives.\u201d<\/span><\/em>

      \nDefinition: To abolish, render inoperative, paralyze, make ineffective.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

      Jesus did not merely oppose Satan\u2014He paralyzed him. He stripped the devil of his operational power. Through His death, Jesus rendered the one who held the power of death null and void<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The “dogs” of darkness\u2014whether spiritual or human agents\u2014have been defanged by Jesus Christ. They are toothless<\/strong>, disarmed by Calvary\u2019s triumph.<\/span><\/p>\n

      2. Authority Delegated to the Church<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \u201cBehold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over ALL the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.\u201d<\/span><\/em>
      \n\u2014Luke 10:19 (AMPC)<\/span><\/p>\n

      Greek Word: \u1f10\u03be\u03bf\u03c5\u03c3\u03af\u03b1 (exousia)<\/span><\/strong> \u2014 Jurisdiction, delegated authority, legal right to act.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

      Jesus didn\u2019t just win\u2014He delegated His victory<\/strong>. He gave the Church jurisdiction and dominion over all<\/strong> the dunamis<\/strong> (\u03b4\u03cd\u03bd\u03b1\u03bc\u03b9\u03c2)\u2014the dynamic ability of the enemy.
      \nThis is not partial power\u2014it is total dominion<\/strong>. Nothing the enemy possesses is outside our delegated reach in Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

      3. Seated Far Above<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \u201cAnd He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/span><\/em>
      \n\u2014Ephesians 2:6 (AMPC)<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u201cWhich He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/em>

      You are not trying<\/strong> to win a battle\u2014you are standing in a victory already secured<\/strong>.
      \nIn Christ, we are enthroned<\/strong>\u2014seated far above Satan and his entire hierarchy of powers and principalities.<\/span><\/p>\n

      This is the believer\u2019s present reality. This is Ghana\u2019s inheritance through the interceding Church.<\/span><\/p>\n

      VI. The Victory Declaration: Ghana\u2019s Divine Destiny Secured<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      The flag may be torn, but it is not destroyed<\/strong>. The dogs may bark, but they cannot devour Ghana\u2019s destiny<\/strong>. President Mahama contends for the soul of the nation, and divine help is dispatched through God\u2019s restoration armies<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The blood that speaks better things than that of Abel now covers Ghana\u2019s torn heritage<\/strong>\u2014not with judgment, but with mercy<\/strong>; not with wrath, but with divine protection<\/strong>; not with destruction, but with glorious restoration<\/strong>. The superior blood of Jesus seals what heaven has mended.<\/span><\/p>\n

      As Ecclesiastes 11:3 declares, \u201cWhen the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em> Likewise, when the heavenly censers are full of incense\u2014the intercessions of the saints\u2014a divine release occurs. Rain falls.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Rain falls on enemy rituals<\/span><\/strong>! Foreign and domestic words, whispers, spells, and enchantments are saturated, dismantled, and dissolved. What sorcerers plant, the rain of God uproots. What occultists conceal, divine downpour exposes and eradicates.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Ghana\u2019s flag flies again\u2014mended, anointed, protected, and restored<\/span><\/strong>. The fertile plain of divine restoration now yields beauty for ashes, strength from brokenness, and unity out of division. The nation is covered. The president is shielded. The enemy is disarmed.<\/span><\/p>\n

      To every dog that has surrounded this land\u2014every serpent and scorpion seeking to inject poison into Ghana\u2019s bloodstream\u2014every principality and power contesting this nation\u2019s prophetic purpose:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      You are defeated<\/span><\/strong>. Satan is not merely overcome\u2014he is paralyzed, stripped, and legally disarmed. Christ has given us exousia<\/em>\u2014jurisdiction over all the dunamis<\/em> of the enemy. And more: He raised us up and made us sit\/enthroned with Him, far above all words, decrees, and demonic hierarchies.<\/span><\/p>\n

      We do not beg. We reign. In the Name of Jesus Christ, we exercise kingly dominion.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Ghana has a divine destiny worth fighting for. God is not about to restore\u2014God has<\/em> restored!<\/strong> The warfare has turned. The tide has shifted. The victory is not pending\u2014it is established.<\/span><\/p>\n
