I am a son of Light. Who are you? Well, that depends\u2026Are you born anew by the Word of Truth that is ever living and in whom is Light? If you are, then you too are a son of Light. And if you are a son of Light and all things reproduce after their kind, then you too are light. Awesome realities!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:46pt;\"><span style=\"color:#00b050;\"><strong><em>James 1:17-18 KJV<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><strong><em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:46pt;\"><strong><em><span style=\"color:#00b050;\">(17)  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from <span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">the <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:red;text-decoration:underline;\">Father of lights<\/span><span style=\"color:#00b050;\">, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><strong><em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:46pt;\"><strong><em><span style=\"color:#00b050;\">(18)  Of his own will <span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">begat he us with <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:red;text-decoration:underline;\">the word of truth<\/span><span style=\"color:#00b050;\">, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><strong><em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:46pt;\"><span style=\"color:#4f81bd;\"><strong><em>Eph 5:8 KJV<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><strong><em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:46pt;\"><strong><em><span style=\"color:#4f81bd;\">(8)  For ye were sometimes darkness, <span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">but now <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:gray;text-decoration:underline;\">are ye<\/span><span style=\"color:#4f81bd;\"><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\"> light in the Lord<\/span>: walk as <\/span><span style=\"color:red;\">children of light<\/span><span style=\"color:#4f81bd;\">:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><strong><em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:18pt;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#1f497d;font-family:Century Gothic;font-size:12pt;\">Once upon a time, we were darkness. Notice the construction in Eph 5:8. We did not have darkness in us. Rather we were darkness. Our spirit was darkness because sin had put out the light of God owing to Adam and Eve having eaten of disobedience to God&#8217;s will. Our spirit is the candle or lamp of the Lord. It can be light or darkness depending on whether we are born again or not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#1f497d;font-family:Century Gothic;font-size:12pt;\">It is one thing to live in the awareness of this reality and hence enjoy the benefits that awareness brings BUT it is also a different thing to live in ignorance of this truth and hence live far below what God has intended.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#1f497d;font-family:Century Gothic;font-size:12pt;\">So we are light. What then is the purpose for light?
