Who We Are
Sunesis Learning Initiative (SLI) is an apostolic leadership and governance ministry dedicated to equipping the saints, developing leaders, strengthening institutions, and advancing Kingdom influence in society. Founded by Pastor Dr. Solomon Appiah, SLI operates from a ministry foundation while engaging issues of governance, public leadership, policy, and national transformation through a biblical worldview.

SLI exists at the intersection of spiritual leadership and public service. Our conviction is that enduring transformation in nations and institutions begins with transformed leaders—men and women equipped with wisdom, character, competence, and divine purpose. Operating under the spiritual covering of Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, SLI serves as a platform for apostolic teaching, leadership development, governance engagement, and strategic nation-building.

Spoken to Pastor Dr. Appiah in person during a global broadcast attended by billions worldwide. The word was given in the context of the acceleration of divine timelines: God doing a mighty work across the world in shorter times, and the delay Peter spoke of being for salvation's sake — shortened where there are those who will work. International Governance and Policy Engagement
Contributed to governance research, policy analysis, and institutional development initiatives through service with the Africa Progress Panel Secretariat under the leadership of former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan in Geneva.
Leadership Development and Capacity Building
Through ministry, governance, academic, and leadership platforms, Pastor Dr. Appiah has engaged, trained, and mentored leaders across multiple sectors and countries, helping strengthen leadership capacity for both Kingdom service and societal transformation.
Constitutional Governance and Public Service
Nominated by the President of Ghana to the Sixth Ghana Prisons Service Council under Article 206 of the 1992 Constitution.
As Chairman of the Project Efiase Planning Committee, Pastor Dr. Appiah participated in the strategic development and fundraising initiative launched by President John Dramani Mahama in June 2015—securing a GH₵50 million government funding commitment announced in Parliament for prison infrastructure and rehabilitation across Ghana's 43 prison establishments. He also served as lead author and editor of the inaugural Project Efiase Annual Report to Stakeholders (2015–2016), the Council's first public accounting to stakeholders, published under the chairmanship of Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengam.
